Nussbaum Center Associate statistics for Second Quarter 2009
The Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, a Greensboro business incubator, today announced results of an internal study of its Associates for the second quarter 2009. This study tracked only those companies who were in the Center for both the second quarter of 2008 and 2009.
The 41 companies who met these criteria experienced a 58% increase in revenue totaling $6.8MM. These same companies reflected profit growth of 71%, with totals growing to $840K.
Perhaps the most important statistic was the 33% increase in payroll for Nussbaum Associates, bringing the average wage to $64K per employee.
“The results of this study reflect the hard work of our entrepreneurs, and the dedication of our staff and our strategic partners in helping these companies grow,” said Sam Funchess, President/ CEO of the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship. “The growth of all entrepreneurial companies is key to the continued economic recovery and growth of the Triad, and the Nussbaum Center devotes every available resource towards this goal.”
